1ST ROUND COUNSELING FOR SELECTION OF CANDIDATES FOR ADMISSION INTO 1" YEAR DIPLOMA IN PARA-MEDICAL COURSES IN THE INSTITUTES OF PARA-MEDICAL SCIENCES ATTACHED TO THE MEDICAL COLLEGES OF ASSAM FOR THE SESSION 2021
This is for general information to all candidates who has applied for admission into 1 year Diploma in Para-Medical courses in the Institutes of Para-Medical Sciences attached to the Medical Colleges of Assam for the session 2021 as per this Directorate Educational Notice No DME/P-Med/96 /2022/6651, dated 28/03/2022 that the 1 round counseling for selection of candidates of the said courses will be held from 18th to 21 January 2023 as per programme given below. Candidates applying under various reserved categories are required to produce the appropriate certificates/testimonials etc. in original issued by competent authority before the
Selection Board. Candidates must bring with them all original testimonials Le. Marks sheets of 10+2 Exam, Admit Card of HSLC examination, Pass Certificates, Permanent Resident Certificate, Caste certificates, Un-Employment Family certificate and other relevant documents. Separate Photo copies of the said documents and recent passport size photo will be required at the time of counseling. For Char Area candidates the certificates must be issued by Char Area Development Authority and countersigned by concerned DC/SDO.
All candidates should appear personally for counseling on the scheduled dates and time failing of which he/she will forfeit his/her merit positions and no claim shall be considered later. In case of any matter of controversy, the decision of the Selection Board shall be final and binding. Date of Counseling: 18th January, 2023
(A) All candidates who secured minimum 88.66% Marks and above in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) taken together.
(B) All candidates applied under Physically Handicapped quota.
Date of Counseling: 19th January, 2023
(C) All candidates who secured below 88.66 Marks to 86% Marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB).
(After filling-up of all un-reserved seats in the Institute of Para-Medical Sciences attached to the Medical Colleges of Assam, the remaining candidates belonging to reserved categories who secured marks upto 86% will be accommodated in their respective categories in order of merit in same day.)

(D) Candidates under EWS category who secured below 86% Marks to 83% Marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB). (E) Candidates under SCHEDULED CASTE category who secured below 86% Marks to 83% Marks in Physics,
Chemistry and Biology (PCB). (F) Candidates under 5.T. (P) category who secured below 86% Marks to 80% Marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB).

(G) Candidates under S.T. (H) category who secured below 86% Marks to 65% Marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB).
(H) Candidates under OBC/MOBC category who secured below 86% Marks to 84% Marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB).
(1) Candidates under Un-employed Family Quota category who secured below 86% Marks to 76% Marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB).
(J) All Candidates who applied under Char Area Quota category.
